Thursday 29th December

Peter had counted 49 Pintail on Loch Gruinart yesterday. Gary had been out with some clients yesterday and had seen a  small Canada Goose amongst the Barnies and Whitefronts while driving along the High road between Port Ellen and Bridgend. Later on, they had 2 Otters as well as several GND out from Bunnahabhain. Finally, they saw a White tailed Eagle flying over the woodland at newton, up behind Bridgend. Today, James reported through that a visitor had spotted the drake Green winged Teal at the reserve at Gruinart. No sightings reported through of the Gyr Falcon, but it may still be around, will just need to keep an eye out for it...
