Sun 20th April

While returning home last night from a meeting in Oban, George saw the Iceland Gull from the ferry at Port Ellen. On his ponds, he had the sighting of a Mallard with 8 ducklings on Saturday 12th April, but today, sadly it is now down to the adult bird and only 1 duckling. What has predated them we are not sure. Here at home, there was a brief sighting this morning of 7 Swallow over the trees, possibly getting some food on the wing before moving on.
