That's another month in, in fact another year in, if the truth be told!! The rain last month here at home came to a mere 5.2inches, exactly the same that Marsali had over at Mulindry, our total for the year came to 51.75 inches whereas Marsali's total came to around over 56 inches, our rainfall tally came was only 5.85 inches more than last year, say no more!!!
Yesterday, James and his family climbed up Beinn Bheigier, Islay's tallest trig point at 491 metres and saw 2 Red Grouse while on their climb. Today, the Sparrowhawk spoofed all the wee birds off the feeders, here at home, and then took a rest on top of the Willows before flying away, still hungry.. James today, had seen a couple of Sparrowhawks over on the reserve at Gruinart as well.
