Another beautiful day in paradise- I have just returned from a sit at the hide at Gruinart, great views of a Hen Harrier chasing the ducks about and resting on the islands in the flood. Three Little Grebes bobbing about in front of the hide. Dave P. has been out enjoying the sun and birds - yesterday 18 Pale Bellied Brents at Bruichladdich and today- 8 Whooper Swans at Cornabus Fields, 2 Red Breasted Mergansers and a Great Northern Diver at Kilnaughton and 25 Common Seals, 3 Red Breasted Mergansers, 1 Great Northern Diver, 50 Curlew and a Rock Pipit at Seal Bay nr. Ardbeg.
