On Friday, Mandy, the longterm vol at Gruinart had seen a Spotted Flycatcher feeding one of its' fledglings on the trail.The vols had been over on Jura at the weekend where they saw 3 different prs of Short eared Owls. This morning, Mary saw 3 Red throated Divers fly overhead from North to south close to Uiskentuie. Also just after lunchtime, we had a ringtail Hen Harrier take off from the roadside as we headed over to Gruinart. The sun is shining again this evening after a steady dampness earlier today, almost an inch fell...it was not really that wet just a steady fall of the wet stuff...
